Hello! We are Shalyn and Chris. We’re getting married! Or rather, we’re already married - in the eyes of the law. But while that was a laugh and all, because we did it quite last minute (stamp duty is a wiley beast) we never got the chance to organise a proper knees-up with all the fine people-folk that we would want (read: need) to be there.

We missed out on looking out and seeing as full a set as possible of our most important and beloved people staring back at us (hopefully smiling) while we proclaim to them and ourselves how much we really like each other. We realised that this is super important to us because, in full honesty, you’re all super important to us. And you can’t build a cake without community (or whatever that famous old phrase is).

We’re looking forward to getting everyone together, in a low-seriousness, high-fun environment. Think: scavenger hunts, singalongs, communal crafting, bring-a-dish chaos, sung bridal speech, and much much more.

We really hope you can come along and help make it a big communal day to remember.
